If I made a map of my soul

What would it contain

Where would everything go

What would not remain

Where would I put all the guilt inside

The pain, the lonliness, and anger

Where would they reside

And what of the empty hanger

Where I put all my lies

The butterflies in my stomach

The guilt in my eyes

If I made a map of my soul

Where would you be

Next to the prison cell

Or the need to be free

Wow. Ingenious and utterly exacting. Those last four lines are etched into my soul. You have contrived an achievment beyond words. Distinguished and subtely intelligent.
