This house has become my prison
With the dirty floors
And the half painted kitchen
I try to ignore
But all the dirt makes my heart hurt
The walls play tricks on me
Their closing in... HEY! I can't breath!
My family and my friends
They all try to pretend
That nothings wrong
But it's gone on so long
That they don't even notice
That they don't even know us
And when you're not here to save me
I'm trapped in the guilty concious of the people that made me
I can't explain the pain i've found
Everytime you pick me up
It slams me back down to the ground
The impact steals the air outta my lungs
I try to talk but it comes out like i'm speaking tongues
Doesn't anyone understand
I try to get back up and be a man
But I can't
I look up at you
Tears streaming and my face is blue
Silently you look through my pain...
   and see the gain.
