hey dad, look at me, talk to me!
am i the little angel you always thought i'd grow up to be
am i still the little girl that sat on your knee at the age of three
no! that little girl is dead
you might as well have shot her in the head
is it because you love me that you expect so much of me
i tried and i died inside to live up to your expectations
i can't escape them
theres no way out
i want to scream and shout

...Is that what love is all about?
