i stand
smoking winstons
outside of the bar
music playing inside
folk,
dylan-esque with some overt hank williams
overtones

this girl,
vapidly beautiful,
talking to me about signs
she is a leo.

i listen to the last half of her rant

i am a aquarius,
i drop a line

she smiles and brushes back her hair
i am in.

it was almost to easy this evening.
failure was such a stable theme
as of late

and now here i am.
on top of the world?

Yeah man you get favorited. Nice. Succinct with an overtone of melancholy and disbelief.
