I heard a angel crying
Crying because of love dying
His wings broken and torn
People just don't learn
There are some who fuel the hate
There are some who want to help but hesitate
Teardrops hit the ground as the angel continues to cry
Like raindrops falling from the sky
He holds onto his halo
As the wind begins to blow
The angel never sleeps
Just sits there and weeps
Angel tears
One teardrop and pain disappears
Angel tears
One teardrop and peace nears
But today angel tears don't mean much
Only works on those they touch
If only the world flooded with angel tears
I'll ask of it in my prayers
