In the corner of the unknown
I walk in circles alone
Wondering what lies beyond the dark shadows
Where the light shows
The child sleeps
As the mother weeps
The baby cries
Another one of the homeless dies
Some fall ill
Some set out to kill
The world is hate
I foresee its fate
My first look at the world outside
Makes me want to run back in and hide
It's not so bad out of the light
The world is darker than the night
I'll go back inside to pray and cry
I won't miss it so I want say good bye
The world is broken and torn
To the darkness I'll return
