the day moves on and on but what am i doing.
the night moves deep and still but what am i doing.
i hear the sounds of others success.
i see my failures and my regrets.

the day moves on and on but what am i doing.
is this day like all the rest.
will this day end in a mess.
will tonights events hit me hard in the chest.

the day moves on and on but what am i doing.
my soul longs for her touch.
my heart aches for her lust.
and my mind remembers to trust.

the day moves on and on but what am i doing.
im not imporiving or even moving.
