the sun sweeps past the morning smog.
telling the ants to begin there day of work in the fog.

the cattle rushes to the freeway drooling.
SURPRISED to find that its not moving.

they turn left, they turn right.
all moving towards hopes and new heights.

California the land of prosperity and gold.
California where you are greeted with bitterness and cold.

this states moves way too fast.
time for me to settle deep mid-west.
