embracing
a summer's rain
with only
the stars
to keep me
company
(and every thought is of you)
wandering
empty streets;
the only sound
my footsteps in
shallow puddles
and the
silence
of the ripples
(and every thought is of you)
basking
in the placid
light of the
full moon;
no longer
hiding in the
dark shadows
of the night
(and every thought is of you)
knowing
in my heart
that we share
the same view…
and you're thinking
of me, too
