I sneeze on a snowflake (confetti) and
wear a crown that is white and wet.
The sky has finally burst
from the grueling tease
of October's wind.
It seems warmer when it snows.
I think I'd like to rest here
in my collar and my sash-
and walk a waking sleep
over my red carpet of dead leaves.
