*This poem was written in collaboration between myself, a friend, and some guy who wouldn't tell me his name.

Smokey eyes in Autumn,
lost gazes in twilight thunder.
My skies are beige
and my leaves crust crimson-
slowly fading to gray, losing grasp of reality.
But reality lost itself, shadowed years before
in a copper conflict
of tarnished teeth
and a tongue that spits rabid obscenities-
but the eyes, oh the eyes, calm and still.

The choppiness added to this; if anything, it offered a stormy atmosphere. Followed by such serenity, the hard alliteration at the end was perfect. Great write, ScorpionHela.

i agree...this was choppy. but at the same time. it probably held some of the best lines i have ever read. nicely done.

i always like reading colaborative poetry... it's always quite choppy, but in an interesting way... it's such a pain in the ass to write about poetry... like talking about music, as zappa said.
