She spilt the tea.
It drizzled cross her cell phone, completely drenched her alarm clock, but stopped short of her candle. Spills never touch her candle.
At one time, she would have inched her candle closer toward the mug in hopes a wayward drop would prompt the tiny flame to wave at her. Though the flame would be angry, she would wave back.
But it is not really like her to cause such disturbance. She should rather just sip the molten wax through a straw. It would harden in her esophagus and cause her to cough and wave, wave..
