Coming home after a good night
Sitting on the computer
While the music is blaring
When the sounds of crashing furniture
Sound from another room in the house.

My brother is angry again,
Destroying things that are his
And things that are not
Without a second thought
Because he is bored.

He threatens to kill the cat
Raising my ire
And causing me
To become Vexed once more
In a world gone topsy turvy.

So long invisible,
Thrown from the shadows
Of a world that didn't want me
And now I strive to survive
My brother's anger.

For years we didn't fight
Because I almost killed him
And now he can kill me
If he so chose
Because he is much stronger than me.

He almost killed me once
We've had our stand offs this night
In whiche I was afraid
So terribly afraid
That my life was going to end.

He threatens to kill me,
He threatens to kill the cat,
He threatens to kill himself,
And I would rather it was me
Not him or the cat
And still so desperately afraid
Of my younger brother.

I can relate to this. My older sister put me in the hospital a few times, acted the same as youre brother. But what you dont realize, is you are straonger than him. And what I never realized, is there are laws to protect you from him. Very well written keep it up.
