She lays there, trembling
…Numbness overtaking her slender body…

~Total Euphoria~
Life flooded away from her.

Her legs lost strength first
…She will never walk down that aisle…

Her arms now limp and lifeless
…She will never hold her children again…

Her eyes were the last to go
…smaller and smaller, glimpses of the world around her disappear…

That last breath meant everything:

She sucks in Death…
…as the darkness tears at her soul…

She lightly lets go of life…
…the life she would risk for that
                          one
                           last
                             fix.
