Feelings of emotion so tattered and torn
Ripped to shredded no longer embedded but now in disarray

Heartache throbbed, innocence robbed
Remnants of glitter now dull and misplaced

A lost heart of love so battered and bruised
Hopeless rhythmic beating out of time out of tune

To discover love’s meaning a task too hard
For her mind has gripped and let go too many times

Never will she know the true heart felt emotions
Locked away and barred pent up

Too many hurts to know any better
Then to shut self away ziplocked from life

Wanting and wishing to know love for all that it may
But fearfully doubting and frightened to be vulnerable

Afraid of knowing she might never experience love to its fullest

But yearning so badly for the right love the deep surrounding emotions of bliss
