Saddened heart crying crimson over and over again
Tears jerked back tightened lids
Never to show flooded foolishness of sorrow
Though happy as can be and overwhelmed with gladness glowing joy
There sits a girl crying in the shadowed corner within the rhythmic beating of me
She sits alone never to show her moistened eyes tired and lip quivered emotion
Do not disturb this beauty so blue
She sits saddened and yet content in her puddled anguish
The young woman which she is boxed within knows no sadness
But only grows stronger in laughter and juggled excitement
Googly goofiness of grandeur gladness
Is how she lives and yet happily and proud
So love me for me the young woman I may be but love the girl within as well
For she takes the pain I fear would drive me insane
