Sapphire eyes staring shallow
Into the depths of her frostbitten heart
Her tears frozen solid
Her mind dispersed in the atmosphere

Her confusion, soul illusion
She knows not the wants of her desires
Yet she struggles strangling
Breath choked by love

A love of oneself or lustful love
Yet all love is lost faded and twisted
Questioned comfort, seduced security
All temporal and masked

Puppeteers have their puppets
Girls have their dolls
Yet this dame is merely the same
With all her lovers known by name

Love life a maze, labyrinth of charms
Innocence the bait, enticing her game
Mind set fabrications of love a snare
So in all this what love to beware!

The first stanza played itself out into my mind like a video shot in tones of blue... I saw it all..lovely. _Raven
