Inside the lonely room I'm dark
Outside, I'm naked
Unclothed and exposed
To the seer, I am blame
To the fear, I am shame

Within the crying mind I'm gloom
Beside, I'm shaded
Unseen and concealed
To the player, I am whole
To the prayer, I am soul

Let the blood not dry within my hours
For the taker must continue
Let it be the blame or shame un-fouled
Of the parting that's within you
Don't look up with eyes alight with powers
Nor down with the hate that's in you
Let me see the whole of soul unboweled
For the taker must continue
