Innocence's fresh vital beauty
dances with blooming flowers
sparkled with morning dew
and green with a first breath.

The bright zenith of a noon sun
awakens stirrings inside,
and glimmers off brilliant colours,
each fighting to shine the brightest.

Dusky dawn of a cool summer night
brings a soothing balm of relief -
a chance to breathe,
and the first cold reaches
of endless night approaching.

Midnight's skeletal hands
reach from the musky grave
bringing wilted leaves
and drooping petals in tormenting defeat.

But lying on the unfeeling ground
admist the rotting body
of the once youthful flower,
lies the hope of a new generation.

It reminds me of things I often think about. People, lost love, and the dead that encompass them. Great work.

I really liked this one. The darkness of it. Very good.

This is curiously haunting. I am in awe, sincerely. This is going straight to my faves. Laced with such intrigue . . like an indistinct girl in an emerald-misted wood, concealed with awkward trees or something. Perfect
