Accept me for who I am
Not who I should be
Not for who I was
And not for who I could be

I am just a person
And your command I might obey
If you would just accept me
For the way I am today

A person is a person
And does not have a special mold
And will not always turn out
Just how they are told

If I were exactly
What you wanted me to be
Who else would accept it
Because I would not be me

How can I be myself
When I'm being something I'm not
If I am someone else
Myself would be forgot

Very well said. I agree with everything said. Like I always say "It's better to be hated for you are than to be loved for what you are not"

Thats really good. "I much rather be hated for who I am, than to be loved for who I'm not." It's for all the people that don't want to be completly mindless and be something theyrenot. right? good job!
