I can run away from you

But not from your glaring eyes

You look at me with so much hate

Like all you see is worthlessness

Am I worth nothing to you?

Just someone to treat wrong

So I try to run away

To hide from the lies

I seek refuge between the lines

I play the game and aways lose

Focused on trying to escape

Lost in the shadows of hate

I find myself running to you
