Shadow Monster

Shadow Monster you took away my soul

And used my body for your lies

You hide in the shadows

To hide your face

Told me not to tell

You made me wish I'd never been born

You caused me to hate myself

I lost trust in all

Forgot how to love

What did I do to derserve this?

Shadow Monster why are you afraid of the truth?

Of what will be told

Do you hide in the shadows to run from the light?

I trusted you because you made me feel safe.

Till...........

You took my life away.
