She was me with somebody
Now the things she says let my blood
She sticks to it like oxygen or razorblades dragged through my veins
She taught me why roses are red
Because love is to bleed
To take a switch blade in your back but not to heart
So I bought her a white rose that day...
...And I slit my throat because she told me to
Because every crimson drop is love as is this on and off blacking out from bleeding...
...How thin my heart has become...
From bleaching the rose red with all of my resentment
I could kill her on paper and shed never know how the ink bled for her
I'd replace my life with "ou"
But id never tell her to her face I cared enough to
She’s too broken and in disbelief
So I promised to never lie to you
I'd never mean to hurt you if you let me close enough to
I promised id never let the stars hang over your lifeless body while you beautifully choke on aspirin and drown in the blood creeping slowly from your wrist
If "I love you" carries no meaning
Then I give you a gentlemen's promise
