When it rains, its said, it pours
And when it does it does with
Cats its said, and dogs
So neck deep in wet noses
I’ll laugh as a scratching post
and where’s the
wolves, I’ll ask, and tigers
and when it pours
I’ll say
Its drizzle
for its fun for me to manage
because its how it goes
and how it goes , I know, is constant
and claws wont get me down
forever more evolving
concrete, I know, exists
but fluid’s where I live
and ever am I grateful
to love it when it rains
and when I’m old, and damp, I’ll stop
with an army of tigers
I’ll laugh
And wolves
