this poem is not for anyone in particular, its raining today and i decided to do this.

rainy days spent inside
only on the mothers fear of cold
i rather be in the winters rain
enjoying her company

soft raindrops fall on her face
like angels tears streaming down
making her glisten in the soft light
her smile white as the snow around us

Holding her in my arms
keeping her warm and dry
her head on my chest
the love we share is forever

the rain stops and she glistens
the water sparkles on her face
like dewdrops on the leaves
shimmering little stars on a heavenly face

i look into her eyes
and see our souls intertwined
lasting forever our love
too bad im stuck indoors

yes too bad mother wont let me outside
so i could be with her
in the rainy days
and the sparkling nights

Your words are beautiful. The sense of longing and desire is captured wonderfully well. It made my wish i had my own Rain/Snow Princess. =)
