the basement

my death
their pleasure
my pain
their laughter
i am strong outside
inside this kills me
they realize none of this
they only see a stupid child
they only see an ignorant girl
i am much more than this i know
but still nothing changes
they continue laughing
as i silently lay here dying in the basement
