blue eyes and barbed wire
hanging from a solid tongue behind her lips
she closes her eyes once again
to feel one last time - the taste of coins
this is her life.
so she [dreams] of her sweet child -
she hums a song.
resonating through hollow heroes
in her eyes: merely a flutter of empty-lies.
dried and hopeless
she remembers what its like
a disguise of meaning - in a meaningless life
but. oh- to try it again she desires - to be the child
as she screams muted serenades
of duct tape-charades.
she opens her eyes once again
draped in (denial)
blink. and you'll miss it-
blink.
