shimmering through desperate hallways
casting shadows of omniscient doubt
flushing paper thin moral lines
smothering hateless indignity
this mood wand mists
melting hungry crowns
shouting threats below
yawning depths
departing lips
words tied to pens selling
discount pain
movements only rumor
speculating progress
awakening the same story
sung by emaciated ladies
dawning taffeta jumpships
let the darkness hold
me
belly up
