alas, the dark corner
is too bright
to conceal hopelessly carved
pupils
to rivale the king’s –
rimmed by crows feet
carved by
desperate dispair
disgraced
by
degenerated
ideas built
of
panic & dandilions.

Well adjectives like "hopelessly" generally give a dark/depressed feel. I really liked the imagery I have seen the crows feet carved by nights and days spent in escape I love the contrast and connotation of the final word, "dandelions"
