Of all the things that always end
Sometimes never does

Maybe left last night
Perhaps never came
At times broke my heart
Now and then shut the door
Sometimes I think I love you

Seldom was a one night stand
Rarely stayed too long
Hardly gave it all away
Often wished to stay away
Sometimes I think I love you

Of all the things that last forever
Sometimes never will
