waves smashing against days
foam drifting from dusk
currents swelling with dawn

salt licks upper lips
pursed & coated sweet
shore laps stone-white skin
curves & silently screams

so the nights go on and on
darkness light
hand in hand
rising falling
side by side
so we will go on and on
