I never promised you anything
      i never said I'd wait

I couldn't give you anything
      no pledge of undieing devotion

I never promised I would be here
You filled me with the lies

I told you I could love you
but you left me here to die

Now you return my affection

what do you want from me?

I'll give you everything I promised
but I never promised you anything

I mean no offense HRH, just my original confused reaction.

I love this. It sounds both bitter, and sullen to me. Keep it up! :)
