I lay me down in my eternal darkness,
as black clouds take to the sky.
I look down from above to the grave.
I see my goddess as she begins to cry.

This earth we inhabbit is malicious.
Pale, cruel death surrounds all.
You and your perverse ways so pretentious.
Laughing at us as we fall.

Society rejects that the world forgets.
We are societies bleeding heart.
We are born happy and free,
until this world tears us apart.

This is a wonderfully written poem, dark and beautiful at the same time!
