I lay me down on a bed of nails.
A beautiful pain forces me to exhale.
Blissful masochistic coma stage consumes me.
Life like resserection sets me free.

The pain is love to my broken heart.
Rose stem thorns rip me apart.
Blood runs warm down my wrists.
Allow my life to further exist.

Pale cruel world inflicts it's wrath.
Leading me down a long and lonesome path.
Darker days last longer hours.
Feeling pain from higher powers.

Was it life I betrayed.
Am I ment to live this way.
Incoherant malicious rambling leads me nowhere.
My ending is so far, yet so near.

Hey there CR! This is almost like a prayer. "Now I lay me down to sleep, I pray the Lord my soul to keep..." I read your wife's works all the time. You should (both) post more.
