My eyes bleed when you are on my mind.
Memories of another place and time.
6 years like a grain of sand in an hour glass.
It's so easy to get lost in the past.
In my dreams, you are right by my side.
Keeping me warm all through the night.
When I awake, I find myself alone again.
So I reach for the bottle and let my day begin.
I still look for your approval, it's like a curse.
And I know you would be ashamed, that makes it all the worse.
I'm sure i will recover, it's just gonna take a while.
It's so hard to make it through the day without your smile.
