Glint in his eyes, I hear it - It's glowing, expanding,
Feast upon his prey, I taste it - It's bleeding, shaking,
Answers in the corner of his mind, Where are they? - It has disappeared, not showing,
Showered in filth, He's screaming - He's tearing apart, hurting,

I see an angel, all dressed in black,
Bathed in the darkness,
No need for the light,
Who stands by him?
His disciple? His only one? His only son?
Both are destined for great things,
Let them spread their wings and fly into the night,
Let them go, Hannah,
Hannah, let them go,
What the hell did I get myself into?
Where did they go?
Why can't I follow?
The light shines on me,
Not my frame of happiness,
Doesn't want the day, only the night,
The day is given to the unconscious,
Where nothing is felt and all is alright,
But once awake, my mind escapes me,
And bleeds to the unknown,
I thought I had known him,
I thought I knew everyone,
But what happened?
And where did they go?
All shadows fade over everything,
And I am left alone in the darkness in pity,
Please believe me,
Don't leave me here to bleed.
