Let us laugh off the pain

pay no mind to this unfortunate day,

Inside, my head is screaming, my heart is weeping,

but let us smile and say,

"Good riddance to all this feeling."

Do not stumble dear friend, do not fall,

let not this hour reduce you to a crawl.

Stand tall and bow low,

walk on letting no weakness,

ever show through.

Ah, but your laughter is like silver bells,

like a joyous babbling brook, or

like memories of home...

So keep on, keep on, in this charade,

And let us wait for this unfortunate day to fade.
