Follow, my love, the path I have taken,
Let us leave these shadows behind.
A crowd of well known past loves
does push against our tender sides,
and shall they succeed in pulling you away?

Hold my hands in yours and walk this way
Breath with me this air and see with me this light.
My dreams are not quite as vivid
as the stormy laughter in your eyes.
So let me save you, if only for myself.

Like loose petals floating in the breeze,
The blessings of your love do abound.
To your eyes I must be but nothing,
Yet I know this is not how you think
Because I know, you know that my heart is good.

Follow, my shining light, the path that I have taken,
With you, I can leave this darkness behind.
Hold my hands in yours and walk this way,
Breath with me this air and live with me this life,
Let ne save myself, if only to see your smile.
