Dream with me, that's all I ask,
Forget today's pain and forget the past.
Dry your tears on my sleeve,
Take my hand because I don't mind.
My heart is broken into pieces
and this dream can take it away.
Because in this paradise your eyes smile
and every minute tastes like rain.
The stars fall and melt like snowflakes,
Tiny bits of liquid laughter on our tongues.

In the day, In the wake of reality's shame,
The sun shines so pleasantly
Yet burns holes in your head.
In the night, when the shadows dance in grace
The moon hides sleepily in the clouds
While I hold out hands covered in my own hate.

Towers will burn and children shall scream
Oceans have risen and mountains have fallen.
The .45 is calling while tomorrow keeps us drowning,
but if you just wait and keep my love tight,
Every minute will taste like rain
and my eyes will keep on smiling.
