A hearts fire burns quite bright
Be it anger black, passion red, or faithful white.
Bitterness can consume
As well as can conviction,
A hearts delight can bring you to submission.

A sinner lusts after pain and glory
his broken heart trying to piece itself together
While an innocent strives for a happy story
her heart knowing nothing worse.
In the end both shall turn to dust.

Rust and blood stain cover the dead,
those consumed by empty ideas
and heavy emotions broken to shards.
Sometimes the worst isn't knowing you lost
it's finding out you never really won.

A true beating deep inside
a strength through all the horror and the loss
A savior in the dark, in and of itself
is the burning blaze of truth
that never dies out or turns to ash.

Sometimes to crumble and bleed out
seems almost easier
than to wait for the promise at the end
when to achieve it
is not gained with pleasure, but with sacrifice.

So intense, this is outstanding, I enjoy writing with such a belting of emotion.
