Like water seeping into my skin
Pruning my fingertips and drowning me deep,
So have you seeped into my heart.

Slow and steady like the ocean waves
I was lulled to my bones, relaxed to silence,
My love hidden Oh so quietly away.

My heart shudders at your touch
And I keep this to myself.
I feel so foolish because you are perfect,
perfect in my eyes when I am not.

I could compare my thoughts of you
with many things beyond the ocean spray,
To fires heat and the moons light,
a sirens song and a doves flight,
but in the end of all the bluster and the blush,
the simplest thing to say, to tell, to ultimately confess,
Is these three words "I am obsessed."

IN these dark times when most is uncertain,
I have had you on my mind.
A light in the gloom, a hope for the future,
It is for you I have been praying.

Patient and waiting I will be like the stones
Through the rush of day and heat of night,
Until the times comes it is me you want.

Perhaps then like cool lake waters
Calming you, enveloping you in comfort,
I can hold you when all is said and done.

Shakespeare couldn't have written it better himself. Your words are so sensually soft.

your poetry is so full of feeling -'slow and steady like the ocean waves, i was lulled to my bones'... wonderful.
