Do not go imparting your base behavior upon me,
and expect me to lust after it gratefully.
Such weighty decisions I must make,
but the choice to keep you I will forsake.
Though I had endeavored to love you true,
Now I know it is best to just let you go.
Crumpled and weeping on the floor,
is a state of anxiety I leave for you.
Such antics are not constant in my heart
and maybe they are not in yours,
but I tell you now, the loss is entirely you own.
I could recite a million things,
about honor, dignity, discipline, yet to no avail.
To you these things are but fallacious words,
Stormy ideas that cloud sound judgment.
Ant to be sworn to such a life,
I find an oppressing waste of time.
But this tearful disdain I will keep silent,
As I walk away with no more empathy for your pain.

It's good to be confidant with your feelings and knowing where you stand. Good write.
