A tattered dress, a shattered mirror,
A little less the bride
a little more the death.
swollen and giddy with cigarette smoke,
Laying on the floor, fallen on the ground.
Just another breath, another smothered hope.

A purple trust, a black mouth,
A little less the girl,
a little more the hag.
estranged and cynical with lifes joke,
Picking myself up, wiping at the blood.
Just another step, another painful jolt.

A broken heart, a drowning mirth,
A little less pride
a little more decadence.
spattered and clinging to the rail,
Walking out the door, listless in the mental agony.
Just another day, another useless statement.

Another drag, another bleak sunset.
A little less human
a little more empty.
Despondent and twisted into the emotion,
Leaning against the wall, picking at the scab.
A life unlived, a ever after unhappy.
