Tired limbs do protest,
the movement of my heart.
It intertwines with the wind,
And shakes my core once again.

I begged to be let go at the last,
but my silent prayer was answered instead,
you you kept me waiting,
for your confusion to finally end.

Passion set aside,
There is something left behind,
in this human husk,
I find the sun as it warms within.

Slender are the branches,
outside my very window,
and the rain does refrain,
in this heated evening.

Memories of your touch
stir splendidly like the dust.
with no control to keep them in check,
they choke me to tears, when

All I ask is for the clouds,
to shower down,
and with mercy,
let me drown...
