I miss your voice,
And I miss your face.
If it were my choice,
I would keep you here,
in every way.
I can feel your touch,
I can feel your kiss,
but only when sleeping,
when I believe in this.

Outside the window,
and in the sun,
I thought I saw you walking by,
but it was just a memory
of what had been.
It makes me want to cry,
knowing that today brings,
you no where closer to my side.
and this is what stings.

Shadows play with the light,
at the corner of my eye.
It leaves me visions,
of the laughter of yesterday,
when I knew what you tasted like.
A breeze of unease,
is just a sigh.
I am broken, to say the least,
when the thought of you no longer satisfies.

Very much how my memories are.. Things look possible in the corner of my eye but the dreams are unfulfilled. Loved the writing
