Sitting here alone in my room
I look outside, all I see is doom
Soon they’ll close my window and I won’t see
Turn the lights on please, set my mind free

You said you would visit me forever and a day
You said I must repent, or else it would stay
You said you’d clean my soul until it all dies
I said I won’t give in to you or your stupid lies

Don’t you understand? Not one single part?
All these feeling inside my tired heart
I won’t cry any longer, I’ve finally given in
Please take me I don’t want to live in sin
