bathe me in the light
and cleanse me in the flames

im resurrected in your passion
reborn unto you
as i pray in tongues of your name
made melodious in ragged breaths
of whispers and screams

nails scraping on my way down
as blood stains virginal flesh

moisture collecting where i once was sacred
now hollowed

ive become your temple

desecrate me
and rebuild me in your vision

and ill pray in tongues of your name
while you baptize me in your flames

So deeply passionate, lines like "im resurrected in your passion reborn unto you" brought colour to my cheeks. Loved the ending line too, it fit perfectly with the atmosphere of the poem. Pure wonderfulness.

Excellent metaphor. Simple in composition but delivers a message heavy as lead. Bravo.
