Poetry is making love, tasting cultures and breathing in history with single words and the plainest of sentences..

Love is intricate but strong, Indefinite, but timeless.. and true art lies in balance,
however disproportional

A friend of mine reads up on architecture..
I call him an artist..
I call him a creator, I call him a god..

And there is a small shard of glass cutting up the insides of my eye. I think you have placed it there with the intention of opening my sight..

[brujeria]

Magic betwixt our bruises and our violence,
and together we light the glorious lanterns along the edges of the city.. so that they may lead us back home when we return from the sea..

.I hope it swallows us whole//and I wish that we would never live to see another sunrise.

Goodbye my seven-legged whore,
your ravaged hands were not the beauty I thought I craved.
You.Are.Filth.
But I hope you'll visit me again another night..

"cause you're the one I love"

You set my heart on fire, everytime we make love on broken coffins..
You tempt the dead with your feeble bones.
Death excites you, vixen.
Death embraces you soon..
I beg you to give me yourself,
just once more.
Once last moment to dance under weeping willows and stop time.
The only chance we have at being reborn

You want me-I can taste it in your kiss

......

Where have my dreams gone?
I feel their memory burning in these candles.
I'm trapped in this cloud-chasing reality,
and I cry out for you not to sacrifice your silver-strung
harp to love me..

.Please.

It is too beautiful, and I am so close to dying that I find it easier to start living for once..
My ill-manored child, you are so elegant as you sleep,
and your breath is almost too subtle to notice.

So tell me what oppresses you, and make my eager mind believe I'll understand when I'm older..
Since age has always made the difference to you.

Is it easier to spin now, on the glazed surfaces in your breakable world?
Inhaling those chemical emotions must induce a safety in your mind. Forever my fragile fairy,
you'll swallow those butterflies as they lay shaking...
so.close.to.death.
Won't you kill them to put them out of their pain?
The depth of the darkness puts me to sleep, with that blue strung heart piercing into my face..

Dance tomorrow, today has faded.
And the spotlights have grown tired of your color..
The steps of your stage begin to twist and bend black,
in hope that they can keep you away from your new performance..

.We're now aware of the delicate masks you wear.

Now tell me, could you--
When does the next show start?

And... Now the stage is set for Romance
or
empty stares//hot violence//emptied-sex affairs
....

{cameras on}

The audience crowns the stage with the burning locks of intertwined hair,
because those promises never really were intended to be true..

Burn Me

and maybe for once I can wander without aim,
naked and free of all desire..
Until I find those white-laced dreams of never waking again,
and my search will end..

..And My Search Will End..

this is so twisted, it takes images and ideas and turns them inside out. I love it.

have you read much by ayn rand? i was just wondering, because you focus a lot on the 'creators' and man as a god like creature. ~lauren~
