All at once one hundred thousand voices cry
Their lives washed by water, 15 feet high
All those crushed and drowned, let out a collective sigh
Everyone else didnt even blink, say "Thats how it goes."
And go on with their life, they have their own woes
Imagine New York drownd' and covered in kelp
You know the whole goddamn world would show up to help,
And the leader man, our leader man, would get up and say...
"Hey Ya'll, I heard the durndest thing t'day!"
"It seems them Iranies have a weather machine"
"They're lookin' to kill freedom, wipe the whole planet clean!"
And so a battle would ensue, we would own Iran.
And the innocent people would be held tighter by The Man.
We would forget our rights, for which we once stood
And wear a "Freedom Locator". for our own good.

note:This is a fragment of an already posted poem. It had nothing to do with te origional poem, so, I figured it had best stand alone. Yeh short attention spanned bastids.

I'm surprised there are no comments here. I dislike rhyme, but in this case, the simple AABB scheme helps convey the simple and harsh truth of what you're saying. "Freedom Locator"... genius.
