Slip into something more comfortable,
the way things used to be.
With an ashtray full of burnt out dreams,
and a paragraph filled with memory.

I've lost everything I ever fucking wanted
To a girl who wanted everything.
When a miracle comes from a torn black label,
It's piano music that plays behind the scenery.

Supple.

Conspicuous are the motives of "Ladies and Gentlemen."
And even in the underworld the Greats are disreguarded.
Such a triumphant moment, nobody saw,
Because in my group of friends...The theatre is dead.

I lay in lies shaped like jellyfish.
I dare not move or let my breath lose its balance.
When you get stung by those colored green,
It's hard to hold still or give your second chance.

Supple.

I walked away through anger and a play.
I came back with a new thought on life. And although,
I live for the Jellyfish, the Ashtray, and a paragraph.
The true love of my life is that supple piano.

Soft Hope.

I love your poetry, it's always so easy to imagine. This poem was like jazz music, slow, steady...mellow and mysterious in a sense. I loved it *~seraph~*
